Hydroacoustics

Hydroacoustics refers to the use of acoustic instruments to measure flow, bathymetry, or suspended sediment concentration.  We have effectively used hydroacoustics to investigate suspended sediment dynamics and bedform dynamics in the coastal and nearshore regions, as well as velocity profiles and sediment flux profiles in tidal inlets and rivers.
